Upon logging into Holistiplan, click the “Households” page in the navigation toolbar at the top of the screen. This will take you to the listing of all the Households in your firm.
To create a new household, click the “Add Household” button:

If your organization is using Units, you will be prompted to enter the unit where you want the Household to reside. The remaining fields for the Household are optional by default, meaning that they aren’t required to create the Household (though some firms may choose to make them “required” as a Firm setting).

In the Client portion, the only required fields are the first and last name of Client 1. As a best practice, however, we encourage you to include the birth date of the primary taxpayer, as well as any information for the second client of the household (if applicable). Then click the Create Household button, and you’re done!
